Bridlewood has the benefit of living on the edge of Calgary, making it extremely easy to escape to the mountains or to the Kananaskis country in under an hour. Bridlewood is loaded with trails and pathways that can be used year-round in any season. They even have natural wetlands that transform into a skating rink every winter. And with close access to Fish Creek Provincial Park, there is no end to the options for those who love the outdoors.

There are great schooling options here for students. Schools like Bridlewood School, an elementary school with classes up to Grade 6 students. Monsignor J. J. O'Brien is a Catholic school for students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. One of the premier private schools in the city, Glenmore Christian Academy, is found right here in Bridlewood as well. These schools, plus many more in the area, offer endless options for students and parents here. The Fraser Institute ranks Monsignor O’Brien school as 200th in the province for its academic programs.
