Major shopping centres like Northland Mall, Market Mall, and the Crowfoot Crossing complex are destinations for many of the communities here. These shopping districts offer much more than the basics. Calgary Northwest Schools

St Vincent de Paul School is one of the best options, an elementary school in Varsity. This school is ranked 5th in the entire province of elementary schools, higher than many private schools. Other good elementary schools here include Marion Carson School, Hillhurst School, and Dr EW Coffin School.
In the high schools, we have William Aberhart High School, which just outside of the top 10 in Alberta. This public high school in Banff Trail offers dual credit courses, high academic programs, good athletics, and a program for fine arts that competes against other schools in the province. We also have Sir Winston Churchill High School, which also ranks very well by the Fraser Institute for senior high schools in Alberta.
The private schools in the area include Westmount Charter which has classes from Kindergarten through to Grade 12. This school consistently performs well academically and has one of the best reputations in the city for schooling.
