
Born in Spruce Grove and a longtime Calgary resident, Simmi now calls Chestermere home. As the oldest of four siblings, she has always been the go-to person for solving problems, a trait she brings to her real estate career. Outside of her career, Simmi enjoys travelling with her husband, discovering new destinations and experiencing local restaurants and cafes—she’s a true foodie at heart. She also shares her home with a beloved Shiba Inu, Mika. Often working out of local coffee shops, Simmi loves discovering new places and enjoying the culinary scene wherever she goes. Staying active is a key part of her life, and she incorporates running and yoga into her routine to maintain balance and energy. What type of clients do you typically work with?

Most people don't know that Simmi’s background is in accounting. She went to Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), and obtained a Bachelor's of Business Administration Degree majoring in accounting.
In her third year at the university, she figured that many people her age aim for at least two career paths. Although she thinks that accounting was really cool, she also wanted to add something to her portfolio.
She learned about real estate and knew it would be a great side hustle. Simmi took online real estate courses during her third year at SAIT and ended up finishing her degree and her real estate course in the same year!
Shortly after her graduation, in the Summer of 2017, Simmi met with Jared Chamberlain at Vintage Cafe. Jared offered her to join the team as a realtor and presented what she can be in the real estate industry.
Simmi gave it a shot and joined the Chamberlain Real Estate Group that summer. She never planned to make real estate her full-time career, but working with the team and clients made her fall in love with it to the point where she has never looked back.
Simmi works by creating meaningful relationships with people. Handing over the keys to her client on possession day of their new home is the most rewarding feeling for her! Aside from being so relational, Simmi is able to use her business background to assist her clients further. Her knowledge gives her leverage in creating the best strategy for them.
