Starting his real estate focus around 2005, Mark was directly involved with raising capital for multiple real estate developments and projects. Having personally raised several million dollars for various construction projects and acquisitions, he proceeded to take multiple real estate development programs at the University of Calgary.
In 2019 Mark picked up his real estate license and focused initially on working with long term buy and hold investors. He organized and hosted some of the largest real estate investing events in the city for several years, hosting more than 1,000 upcoming and experienced real estate investors over that time.
These days, Mark works much more with individuals, couples and families interested in buying or selling their own residential homes. While investors are always welcome – there is just something special about helping individuals and families to really find that perfect new home! One of Mark’s favorite moments with his clients is when they say something heartwarming and fun like “the Christmas tree is going to go right there!” Or “the dogs are going to LOVE this yard!” That never gets old! With a 100% focus on his client’s best interests – Mark always ensures that he asks important questions in the beginning to guarantee as smooth of a real estate transaction as possible. Surprisingly to many people – he is regularly caught telling his clients to “slow down a little bit!” as opposed to just rushing out and buying the first house they see!
In his free time Mark loves spending time with his family, going fishing with his dogs, playing hockey and slicing golf balls way too far into the trees!
