Springbank Hill Houses For Sale

Springbank Hill is located in Calgary’s southwest quadrant. The community is a large western community with its edges reaching out to the border of Calgary’s city limits. Many of the people here choose to live in Springbank Hill for its spacious feel, wide open lots of land, homes with exceptional yards and lots of room to raise a family. The community is bordered by 17th Ave SW, Highway 8, 69th St, and 101st St SW. There are over 9600 residents currently living in this community, although that number is growing is more developments allow new people to find their place here.  It’s a popular place for immigrants as 30% of the community is a first-generation Canadian. Springbank Hill primarily offers single-family homes. These are the most common types of homes here. Other options include several of the condo developments that allow new buyers to find their place as well. The median wage is an incredible stat that tells us that people here earn twice as much as the city standard. The average age here is around the same age as Calgary. Young professionals and families love to live in Springbank Hill. Amazingly, 73% of the population has a post-secondary degree of some sort, a real ability to determine who the typical resident is.

The Springbank Hill Community Association is a new offering, a place where the community can gather, co-mingle, and find new friends. A couple golf clubs surround this community, taking advantage of the serene countryside and the incredible views. Pinebrook Golf and Country Club as well as Elbow Springs Golf Club are located very close, offering exceptional golfing in world-class facilities.

Springbank Hill Schools 

There are several schools nearby that serve the affluent community very well. Ernest Manning High School is notable as a public school. It has a ranking of 30th in the province, a ranking which exceeds even some of the private schools around here. Griffith Woods School is a public school located here. Menno Simmons Christian School and R C Conklin School are close at hand as well, great private schools with top marks among students. Ambrose University is a popular Christian college that relocated here after its move from central Saskatchewan.  Students from all over Canada attend this school.
