The community of Haysboro is very similar to many of the neighbouring communities around here. It’s a mixture of the residential and the commercial, with several businesses and stores within the community itself. This is a throwback to when Calgary needed to expand and added homes to land that was originally used for shopping and offices. The borders of this neighbourhood at Heritage Dr, Southland Dr, 14th St SW and Macleod Trail.
Within the community of Haysboro, we can see they types of people who live here and how you could potentially fit in as well. There are over 700 current residents living here, an increase of several hundred since the previous census a few years ago. This is due, in part, to the addition of the large apartment towers that have recently been completed. The housing choices have changed a lot. We now find a pretty even mixture of single-family homes amidst the apartments as well.
