It wasn’t long after Calgary expanded southwest that the area of Deer Ridge was pegged off to become a thriving community. Schools near Deer Ridge Homes for Sale

For parents and students, Deer Ridge has good zoning options, allowing students a choice of the best school options. Don Bosco School is a good Catholic school for elementary students up to Grade 6, a faith-based alternative to Calgary public schools. The Deer Run School is also very well considered among parents living here. Other schools include Haultain Memorial School and Prince of Wales School in Parkland. All these schools share a similar approach to high academic values and good teacher-student ratios. The Fraser Institute ranks the Haultain Memorial school as 189th in the province, according to academic performance.
