The community of Coventry Hills has a varied story. There are just shy of 17,000 residents living in Coventry Hills, a number that has risen sharply in the past three years. This rapid growth represents the expansion of this corner of Calgary and an anticipation of better things to come. 93% of the available housing options are single-family homes. They are detached housing with large yards and a mix between moderately-priced houses and expansive estates with exquisite views. The income is high, a marked increase over the Calgary standard. The average age is much younger than Calgary’s normal, a proving ground for many young families and first time home buyers wanting to live in a safe neighbourhood. The average household has a couple with at least 2 kids at home. Over half of the residents here choose to remain in their homes at least 5 years, comfortable with what Coventry Hills has to offer them as their families expand and age out of the home.

The Northern Hills Community Association doubles its duties with Coventry Hills and Country Hills, sharing in concern over the 25,000 residents it serves. They offer Stampede Breakfasts, community garage sales, family fun events, and “meet the neighbours” gatherings.

Nose Creek Park offers residents a chance to walk and bike along kilometres of trails and pathways. These trails can be used for biking during the summer and cross country skiing during the winter. Schools near Coventry Hills Homes for Sale

Because Coventry Hill is so large, there are several schools in the area that serve the educational needs of many students. Nose Creek School is a Grade 4-9 school that transitions elementary students into junior high and beyond. Coventry Hills School is the other side of that school, a K-3 school that has a few hundred enrolled students. St. Clare School is a Catholic education for all elementary kids. Notre Dame High School is located very close and has students from all over the northwest enrolled in a strong faith-based senior high school. St Clare is a very new school and continues to expand its programs and improve its results in students every year.
