The tiny community of Bonavista Downs doesn’t often get mentioned in the typical south communities of Calgary. It could be larger communities overshadow this neighbourhood, but that simply means that more residents are missing out on what this community offers. The community is formed by natural borders, and only two roads enter in or out of the homes here. The triangle is formed by Bow Bottom Trail, Anderson Rd, and a natural ridge separating it from the larger neighbourhood of Lake Bonavista. This pocket of homes has cul-de-sacs, avenues, and lanes with undisturbed homes.
There are just shy of 1000 residents living here, a fairly small number compared to the average neighbourhood in Calgary.
