The average household has two or more children at home. As Kincora is still growing, the community data suggests that those who live here tend to stay here. Through the events that are made known by the monthly newsletter, the residents here can participate in year-round events and programs. Kincora Amenities

The suburban neighbourhood of Kincora has access to excellent amenities, one of the reason it continues to draw so many residents every year. The main road of Stoney Trail is currently under construction, due to be complete in 2021. This will be a good opportunity for residents here to travel all throughout the city easily and quickly. Kincora can also access Deerfoot Trail and the airport in under 10 minutes from their front door.

Shopping is convenient in this community. CrossIron Mills is located not far from this neighbourhood. This is a popular Calgary destination, a location where warehouse stores, large brands, and multi-store facilities offer every kind of retail or restaurant option. Just to the north, Symons Valley has a good-sized shopping complex with many options for residents to get immediate access to what they need. Snaking its way through the community is Sallamie Park, a local feature that has biking and walking trails for residents.

Just a few minutes’ drive is the popular northwest feature, Nose Hill Park. Kincora Schools

Kincora is very recent in contrast to other communities in Calgary, but there are still several schools that service the area. Blessed Marie-Rose School is a Catholic elementary school close by. Also near are Hidden Valley School, St Elizabeth Seton, and Our Lady of Grace School. There are several faith-based Catholic schools here including the Notre Dame High School in Country Hills Village. Public high schools are a bit farther out like John G Diefenbaker  High School.

St Elizabeth Seton School offers an excellent education system, ranking quite often in the top 100 schools in the province according to the Fraser Institute. They maintain a relatively low classroom size so that students can access the teachers for personalised lessons and learning.
