The neighbourhood of Glendale is located in Calgary’s southwest. It’s a region of the city that borders the inner city and suburban. As for schools, Glendale students have a lot to choose from. Glendale Elementary offers K-6 education in a regular program. Glenmeadow Elementary opened up recently as one of Calgary’s newest schools. It fills the growing need for education among students here. St Gregory Junior High is a Catholic school, feeding kids in to the nearest faith-based high school, Bishop Carroll. Ernest Manning High School is the nearest public high school. It ranks in the top 30 schools in the province, a ranking that outperforms many private schools.
