Where are good places to visit in Calgary with a new puppy?
Nose Hill Park - on top of the hill is a large off-leash area that is plenty big enough for a young pup to explore. This one is mostly grass, brush, and dirt.
Bowmont Park Off-Leash Area - near the river, this fenced park is great if you live in the NW. Though some parts of the fence no longer meet the ground, so keep a close eye on your pup at the south end of the park
Edworthy Off-Leash Park - Here is where you can take your pup on a forest adventure close to home. There are plenty of trees and hills to explore and lots of private spots if you are looking for your own area to play.
Auburn Bay Dog Park - This well-maintained park has lots of trails and open areas to take your dog for a walk. They even have water for hot summer days to keep your dog hydrated
Sue Higgins Park - Take your puppy here for that farm-like feel! With the bow river, this is a perfect place to have some fun in the water
Riverdale Dog Park - Live closer to downtown? Check out this park with plenty of nature to explore
